Part of the Festa Major festival in Perpignan is the celebration of the "Feux de la Saint Jean".
This tradition involves relay runners carrying the flame of St Jean from a bonfire lit on the top of the Canigou mountain to the Castillet in central Perpignan.
From 17:00 on there will be "spectacles" and events in the streets surrounding the Castillet leading up to a firework display around 11pm. Tweet this!
