Frogbus bus stop in Perpignan has moved to Boulevard St Assiscle

The Frogbus bus stop in Perpignan has moved. The new bus stop is opposite the 'El centre del món' entrance to Perpignan train station directly outside the Perpignan Méditerranée building on Boulevard Sainte-Assiscle. Click here for a Google Maps link.

The bus stop is called Gare TGV and is on the other side (away from the city centre) of the station from the old Frogbus bus stop at the Hotel Paris - Barcelone. 'Made in Asia' in Toulouse!

"Made in Asia" is a unique celebration of Asian culture held in France's 'Pink city', Toulouse.

For 3 weeks in February Toulouse will host over 80 events ranging from exhibitions & films to culinary events and cultural workshops. Toulouse's famous Place du Capitole will be transformed into an Asian village for the duration of the festival.

Perpignan (USAP) v Toulon in Barcelona ?

Congratulations to Perpignan (USAP) rugby team who have qualified for the Heineken cup quarter finals with a big victory over Llanelli Scarlets yesterday at Stade Giral.

USAP will take on French rivals Toulon in a match which the Perpignan side are hoping to stage in Barcelona on the weekend of the 8/9 April.

Now its Perpignan (USAP) v Toulouse in Barcelona !

The planned Top 14 French rugby match between Perpignan (USAP) and Racing Club Metro at the Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona in April will not go ahead for various reasons.

The Catalans plan to play Toulouse instead at the 55,000 Olympic stadium at Montjuïc in Barcelona on April 2. The Perpignan v Toulouse game is said to be 95% confirmed.....watch this space!

Classic Monte Carlo Rally: Barcelona - Perpignan - Narbonne

The Barcelona stage of this years Classic Monte Carlo rally starts from Barcelona’s Plaça de la Catedral on Friday January 28th at 16:00. More than 100 competitors will travel north via Granollers, Vic, Ripoli and Saint Pau de Seguries before entering France at the Col d'Ares.

Once in France, the rally will pass through Prats de Mollo, Amélie-les-Bains, Céret, Le Boulou and Perpignan before continuing north via Sigean and Narbonne.

Every Saturday starting January 8th 2011 until 12th February 2011.

Check out the hairaising and entertaining "Cars on Ice" races in Andorra this winter being held at the Grandvalira Circuit, Pas de la Casa.

Attracting big name drivers, manufacturers & sponsors this sport is growing in popularity, Andorra is also now a permanent stage on the Tropheé Andros (French Ice Racing circuit).

Three wise men in Perpignan !

Saturday 8th January 2011
17h00 at Le Castillet and 17h30 at Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste

The "Cavalcade des Rois Mages" takes place this weekend, when the three kings (wise men) will parade through the streets of Perpignan on horse and camel back, collecting letters from children.
