New route from Girona airport (GRO) to the Ukraine (Kiev - KBP) with Wizz Air

Wizz Air have announced a new route between Girona airport (GRO) and Kiev (KBP), the capital of the Ukraine.

The route will start from September 6th 2011, offering 3 weekly flights initially.

'Voie des Femmes' music festival, Pyrenees Orientales

10th & 11th June 2011

A unique music festival takes place at Maury this coming weekend. Maury is 35kms from Perpignan (map here) and is set in a stunning part of the Pyrenees Orientales, surrounded by the mountains of the Pyrenees & Cathare regions.

The "Voie des Femmes" festival showcases female artists from the Pyrenees Orientales area and further afield.

Girona - Museum of city history
